Milestones
“I can do better than that!” Willy Mulser’s guiding principle has always been the force that drives the company onwards. From ice resurfacer to ice resurfacer, from one innovative milestone to the next.
Introduction
In 1986, Willy Mulser built his first ice resurfacer. From a small artisan company, WM ice technics has grown to become a series-production company operating at international level.
Prototype WM 2300
After a full year of tinkering and perfecting, Willy Mulser presents his first prototype of an ice resurfacing machine; its innovative features include, amongst others, a sloping snow tank.
WM for Unimog
Willy Mulser develops an ice resurfacing attachment for the Unimog vehicle company.

WM 2300
The continued development of the initial prototype as a tool carrier for accessory implements. The first ice resurfacer WM 2300 is exported to Langenthal in Switzerland.
WM 2301 High Tech
This ice resurfacer replaced its predecessor, the WM 2300. It is already available with electric drive as an alternative to petrol or diesel models.
WM 2070 Junior
Our first ice resurfacing vehicle for smaller ice rinks with a plane width of 2.07 metres.
WM 1700 Mini
We develop one of the first ice resurfacers for mobile rinks, with the innovative features of joystick control. This model was produced until 2009.
WM 1150 Micro
We attempt to create an ultra-small ice resurfacer, based on a lawnmower tractor.
WM Evolution
Our professional ice resurfacer for large ice rinks. The newly-developed quick-change system and the colour display are ground-breaking innovations.
WM Compact
We begin producing the agile successor to the ice resurfacer WM 1700 Mini, for smaller ice rinks and mobile rinks.
WM evo²
We begin series-production of our professional ice resurfacer for ice rinks and large ice surfaces. This model boasts a larger snow and water tank volume, new planing unit with quick-change system and a larger colour display.
WM Mammoth
Our model for professional deployment in stadiums is ready for operation. With full electric drive and an innovative design, the ice resurfacer WM Mammoth heralds the new generation of WM ice resurfacers.
VITRAC and the founding of WM AGRI Technics
Willy Mulser develops, after years of collaboration with South Tyrolean wine producers, the innovative VITRAC tool carrier, and founds the new branch of the company, WM AGRI Technics. The exceptionally agile, stable tool carrier was purpose-developed for steep vineyards and can be flexibly used with numerous accessory implements. www.vitrac.it
WM Pinguino
We develop a compact ice resurfacer for events and mobile ice rinks. The little WM Pinguino guarantees flawless ice, even on fenced ice surfaces.
WM Shira
With the WM Shira, we bring an efficient ice resurfacer for stadiums with an outstanding price-performance ratio to the market.
WM Autopilot
The future has a name: The self-driving ice resurfacer with Autopilot system makes it first independent rounds of the rinks.
VIROC
WM technics is revolutionizing winegrowing - and this revolution goes by the name of VIROC. The innovative slope-tool carrier excels with its refined structure, patented systems, and flexible multifunctionality. 75 HP paired with a basic weight of only 1,250 kg ensure perfect conditions for use on steep slopes amid close-fitting vine rows. The operator's cab with an ergonomic seat, adjustable steering wheel, and multi-function joystick is the comfortable and intuitive heart of this state-of-the-art engineering marvel. www.viroc.it
Autopilot 3D
Introducing cutting-edge solutions to ice rinks across the globe, 2023 marks an extraordinary milestone for us. Always ahead of the curve, we've launched the WM Mammoth Autopilot 3D, a groundbreaking ice-resurfacing machine. It's not just its autonomous operation that stands out, but its pioneering technology amplifies the efficiency of every Ice Master: The 3D signifies an innovative ice thickness regulation system. With consistent perfection in ice thickness, the surface quality soars, optimizing resource use for rink operators. Remember, unnecessary ice thickness equals increased energy costs; so say goodbye to surplus ice and needless expenses. Explore new dimensions of ice resurfacing with Autopilot 3D!
